GDP’s missions inspect units’ implementation of Party and political work
PANO - A mission of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP), led by its Deputy Chief Major General Nguyen Van Gau, inspected Regiment 490’s implementation of Party and political work in 2022 on November 1.

Having inspected the unit’s task performance, the mission evaluated that the Party Committee of Regiment 490 under the Artillery Corps has led and directed its agencies and units to effectively carry out Party and political work. Notably, the Party committees at all levels have thoroughly grasped and well organized political meetings on building and rectifying the Party and the political system and implemented the Central Military Commission’s Resolution on promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers and resolutely fighting individualism in the new situation.
Concluding the inspection, Major General Nguyen Van Gau acknowledged and praised Regiment 490 for its effective implementation of Party and political work in 2022. He emphasized that to accomplish missions in 2022, the unit should regularly study and strictly actualize higher levels’ resolutions and directives on military and defense task and Party building work.
The GDP’s deputy chief asked the regiment to accelerate leadership over the political and ideological education and law dissemination for troops and pro-actively learn about troops’ thoughts.

The same day, another mission of the GDP, led by Deputy Head of the Department of Personnel Major General Vu Cong Hoa, checked the implementation of Party and political work of Military Region 7’s units, namely Division 302 and its Regiment 77 and Regiment 88.
The units’ reports revealed that over the past time they have comprehensively carried out Party and political work plans, strictly maintained regulations, effectively dealt with issues at the grassroots level, and well ensured material and spiritual life for troops.
Under the leadership and direction of the Party committees and chains-of-command, the units have well implemented the management and education work.
During the visit, the mission checked troops’ knowledge and the units’ documents. The delegates also talked with units’ departments and pointed out shortcomings that need addressing in the future.
