GDP’s delegation visits Quang Ngai province
PANO - A delegation from the General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Vietnam People’s Army, led by its Deputy Director Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong visited and worked with the Quang Ngai provincial Military Command on February 10.

During the Lunar New Year festival, the unit observed combat readiness regulations and military discipline. It also coordinated with public security and border guard forces to organize patrols to ensure local security and social order, while presenting nearly 1,000 gifts, worth VND 2.5 billion, to national contributors and policy beneficiaries.
Addressing the event, General Phuong hailed Quang Ngai’s armed forces’ great efforts in implementing military and defense tasks since the beginning of the year. He also directed the unit to continue to make recommendations to the local authorities to organize a ceremony to hand over recruits.
Furthermore, the Quang Ngai provincial Military Command should be active in novel coronavirus (nCoV) prevention and prepare equipment to ensure the best treatment for patients.
