GDP Director works with Unit 871

Gen. Quyet directly checked the unit’s infrastructure. Later, in a meeting with the unit’s leadership, the GDP director hailed and highly appreciated the unit’s cadres, staff, cadets, and soldiers for their achievements gained over the past time.

Regarding missions for the time ahead, Gen. Quyet asked the unit to coordinate with the GDP’s functional agencies to make proposals to deal with difficulties in implementing policies for cadets training overseas, commendations and rewards for cadets training in civilian establishments with excellent study results, and provision of newspapers for cadets. He requested the unit to well perform these works to attract talented people to the military.

About Unit 871’s suggestions, Gen. Quyet laid stress on due attention to quality and professional expertise of cadres; and rechecking its barracks to make decisions on what should be repaired and what should be built.

In preparation for upcoming all-level Party congresses, Gen. Quyet requested the unit to arrange personnel to meet its requirements and missions.

The same day, Gen. Quyet checked the current status of the area allocated for the public housing project of the GDP on Hoa Lam Road, Long Bien district, Hanoi. He heard reports by functional agencies on the buildings’ design as well. He asked relevant agencies, especially the Department of Logistics, to team up with units to complete the design and select quality and endurable materials for the buildings.
