Hoai Nhon town in general and Hoai Huong ward in particular have long been typical examples for sustainable fishing practice in Binh Dinh province. Despite the large number of trawlers, fishermen and boat owners in Hoai Huong ward always strictly comply with the State's regulations and laws on exploitation and fishing, especially on preventing and combating IUU exploitation. No violations of the law or fishing waters have been recorded.
