Festival featuring the movement of learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example closes
PANO - The General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Vietnam People’s Army on August 29 concluded a festival themed “Military women learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example, deserving to be Uncle Ho's Soldiers".
Fifteen teams with 30 orators from agencies and units under the GDP participated in the festival. The topics focused on promoting the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese women in general and military women in particular; clarifying the content and meaning of Uncle Ho's teachings; as well as on highlighting their achievements in studying and the following of President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morals and lifestyle.
At the event, Major General Tran Van Vuong, Director of the Department of Politics under the GDP, presented the GDP’s certificates of merit to 10 units with excellent performances at the festival. Head of the organizing panel, Senior Colonel Le Van Dung, also awarded certificates of merit from the Department of Politics to five groups with good presentations.
The People' Army Newspaper was honored as one of the ten units with an excellent performance at the event.
