Contest on President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example launched
PANO – The General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Vietnam People’s Army opened a contest on learning from and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example for Southern units on September 26 in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, GDP’s Deputy Director, chaired the opening ceremony.
Awarding ceremony at the contest for Northern units
Over 50 contestants from 28 affiliated Southern units of the Ministry of National Defense will compete in two events, namely outline writing and presentation.
Addressing the ceremony, General Nghia said that the contest was held for political officers and orators at all levels in a bid to raise their responsibilities in learning from and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.
He asked the organizing panel to seriously grasp and introduce the contest’s rules to all contestants, and promote sense of responsibility, justice and objectiveness while requesting the contestants to prepare well for and perform their best during the contest.
