Exercise on providing medical service during search and rescue held
PANO – The provincial Border Guard Command of Quang Tri in association with the provincial Health Department recently held an exercise on providing medical service during natural disaster prevention and search and rescue operations at sea.
As the scenario read, strong winds and high waves caused by a storm threatened to distress trawlers Q1 and Q2 which were fishing in Cua Viet. Some fishermen on board fell into the rough sea. Receiving the SOS signals, the provincial Border Guard Command sent three ships with medical teams to the rescue.
Thanks to good preparation, the rescue forces completed all the contents with good results.
PANO would like to introduce some photos of the exercise.
