Deputy PM inspects COVID-19 prevention and control at Military Hospital 175
PANO - Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh and Minister of National Defense General Phan Van Giang visited and inspected COVID-19 prevention and control at Military Hospital 175 in Ho Chi Minh City on August 24.
At the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister was also connected with Truong Sa (Spratly) island district of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province through a teleconference system.

Reportedly, Military Hospital 175 has received 580 COVID-19 patients and cured 142 of them. In addition, the hospital has proposed an initiative to split the ECMO system to treat two patients simultaneously, contributing to saving more severe patients. A continuous dialysis facility has been established within only 48 hours with the support of Ho Chi Minh City’s authorities and has already served nearly 300 patients.
Speaking at the visit, Deputy PM Thanh highly valued the efforts of military doctors in implementing their tasks at the hospital as well as providing timely health consultancy for troops and people in Truong Sa island district. He wished them good heath and hoped that they will continue promoting their high responsibilities to become a pillar of faith and deserve the truth of the Party, State, and people.
The Deputy PM praised the effectiveness of the field hospital set up by Military Hospital 175 and required all medical personnel and troops to observe military disciplines and promote solidarity to fulfill their assigned missions.
