The Signal Corps was also tasked to double-check information and improve quality of technical personnel across the army, so that they could well perceive technical features of new weapons and equipment; and to have plans for information and communication use at the tactical, operational and strategic levels.

The same day, a mission from the MND’s Council for Law Education and Dissemination, led by Deputy Defense Minister, Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Chiem inspected law education and dissemination as well as the observance of the State law and military disciplines at the Air Defense - Air Force Service.

According to the Service’s report, last year, its Party committee, command and under-agencies viewed the work of law education and dissemination as their frequent important task. Law education and dissemination contributed to improving its personnel’s high sense of observing the State law and military disciplines, and of building a comprehensively strong unit.

Its affiliated agencies and units grasped thoroughly and strictly carried out the MND’s and the General Department of Politics’ resolutions and instructions on the work. They also actively renovated methods and forms of law education and dissemination appropriate to their tasks while raising the awareness and ability of each cadre, soldier and worker.

Having checked the work, Gen. Chiem asked the Air Defense – Air Force Service to continue obtaining achievements and overcoming shortcomings to boost the work in the coming time.

To this end, the Service’s all-level leadership must understand their position and role so as to well implement their tasks. Besides, the permanent board of the council of the Service should be more active and clear-headed in making plans, analyzing and assessing situations, identifying subjects and goals and at the same time better its role as an advisor to the Service’s Party committee and command so that the leadership would well direct affiliated agencies and units to effectively implement the work and improve the quality of the work.

Furthermore, the inspection should be strengthened while the Service should pay due attention to improving both spiritual and material lives of its cadres and troops, especially needy ones, so that they could dedicate their whole hearts and minds to accomplish their tasks.
