At the meeting, deputy Le Van Kham, permanent member of the National Assembly’s Committee of Social Affairs, briefed voters on the results of the N.A.’s second plenum and activities of the delegation of Binh Duong provincial N.A. deputies.
Voters expressed their delight at and confidence in decisions made by the Party, State, and N.A. to help the country overcome difficulties, challenges, develop socio-economy, consolidate the defense-security posture and provide social welfare. They also expressed their respect for and spoke highly of the military’s support for the locals in COVID-19 prevention and control and care for their living standard.
Some voters commented on the investment and improvement of the grassroots medical staff’s competence, shifting of rice-growing land in a timely manner, support for farmers to produce and consume farm produce, policy on stabilizing prices of oil and petrol and other goods, and positive adjustment in voluntary social insurance policy, and more.

Addressing the meeting, General Cuong thanked voters for their constructive comments, saying that they demonstrated their confidence in N.A. deputies and high consensus with the local Party committee and authorities.
General Cuong also provided more information related to the delegation’s activities during the N.A.’s second session and confirmed that the delegation heightened their high sense of responsibility, fulfilled their roles, contributing to the success of the sitting.
Also at the event, the deputy defense minister provided voters with the nation’s armed forces’ achievements in COVID-19 fight. He stressed that the military will always stand side by side with local Party committees, authorities and people, including those in Binh Duong province in this combat.
Noting down voters’ opinions, General Cuong said that the delegation will report them to the N.A. and other authorized agencies for consideration and the results will be informed to voters in the next meeting.
