Deputy Chief of General Staff checks training missions of air force units
PANO - As part of the inspection of the Ministry of National Defense delegation at some units of the Air Force Officer Candidate School, on March 14, Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, inspected the training missions and technical equipment supply at Regiments 910 and 915.
According to the reports during the inspection, the leaderships of the two units have effectively implemented the directives, resolutions, regulations, and guidance from higher levels in organizing flight training, ensuring flight safety, raising awareness for troops, and developing scientifically-based training plans.
During the visits to the units, Gen. Son inspected the airport area, as well as the areas for storing and maintaining technical equipment for flight training missions.
The deputy chief of the General Staff requested the officers, soldiers, and pilots of the regiments to continue to strive to strengthen their political stance, constantly improve their skills to excellently fulfill all assigned tasks. Commanding officers of the units need to focus on innovation and creativity in training to enhance the quality of the pilot team. Additionally, the units should regularly review and inspect technical equipment to propose timely maintenance, upgrade, and replacement plans to effectively serve training and education missions.
