Defense ministry to enhance supplies of technical materials in 2023-2025 period

Reportedly, the military technical sector has collaborated well with relevant agencies of the defense ministry to direct the whole-military units to actively study and promote current capacity of research institutes, schools, and academies in manufacturing technical materials, contributing to ensuring supplies for the military’s need.

At the conference, delegates delivered speeches to evaluate the leadership and reality of the searching and manufacturing of technical materials in the whole-military. They pointed out causes of achievements and shortcomings, proposed measures to promote current capacity of the sector and invest in technologies and human resources, contributing to meeting their task requirements in the time to come.

An overview of the event

Addressing the event, General Vinh affirmed that the researching and manufacturing of technical materials is an urgent task of the whole-military technical sector. He urged the sector to build concrete plan of developing technical materials with a priority for new-generations and high-tech weapons and equipment. In addition, the deputy defense minister required all units to propose mechanism to ensure collaboration in scientific researches, manufacturing and testing of technical materials on weapons and equipment.
