PANO – A delegation from the Tank-Armoured Command, led by Colonel Ta Quang Thuc, Deputy Commander of the Tank-Armoured Corps, inspected military, party and political work, logistics and technology in Depot Y on November 13th.
At the meeting, Colonel Ngo Van Tan, Head of the Depot, briefed the delegation on the implementation of missions over the past time. In 2012, the unit has successfully fulfilled assigned tasks, solved in a timely manner any unforeseen problems for the unit’s safety, as well as worked out plans to cope with natural disasters and rescue people in distress.
Colonel Thuc highly appreciated efforts of cadres and troops in the unit in carrying out missions during 2012, and gave recommendations for missions in the future.
The Deputy Commander said the depot should pay attention to reception, provision, issuance and maintenance of weapons and technical materials for training and combat readiness missions of the Tank-Armoured Corps’ subordinate units. The unit should also focus on mobilizing local people to build a safe locality, as well as work closely with local authorities to ensure local security and safety of the unit.
