Regarding the administrative reform, several units and agencies have been reorganized with restriction of personnel while activities of inter-sector organizations under the management of the Ministry of National Defense have been checked. The tasks of civil service reform, public administrative reform, and e-government and digital government building have been conducted with remarkable achievements.

Speaking at the conference, Sr. Lt. Gen. Vinh applauded the achievements of all units and agencies over the past year. In addition, he urged the Party committees and chains-of-command at all levels to continue implementing the administrative reform comprehensively in close line with the real situations and their assigned missions.

The deputy defense minister required all units to continue completing legal documents related to military, defense and cipher affairs, while undertaking requirements of the Government on implementing online administrative procedures at levels 3 and 4. He also urged relevant agencies to simplify and reduce administrative procedures for commercial activities related to the defense sector.

General Vinh required functional organs to effectively operate the public service portal of the defense ministry and the electronic one-stop information system while publicizing administrative procedures as regulated. He noted that the organs should pay more attention to building legal documents, creating a legal corridor for the management, connection and data sharing among the information systems of the defense ministry.
