Defense leader presents gifts to military units participating in upcoming parade
PANO - Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong led a delegation from the Ministry of National Defense to visit, encourage, and present gifts to some military units taking part in the upcoming parade to mark the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - 2024) on May 3.
Visiting the forces from Army Corps 12, Military Regions 1 and 3, the Commando Corps, Artillery Corps, Vietnam Border Guard Command, Military Ceremonial Troupe under the General Staff, the defense leader highly praised them, especially female troops, for their great efforts, actively overcoming harsh weather conditions and difficulties in accommodation and hard practice and rehearsals.
He asked them to continue practicing, staying united and collaborated, showing high determination to ensure the success of the upcoming large-scale military parade to highlight the resounding Dien Bien Phu Victory, the victory of the Vietnamese people’s bravery and wisdom in the Ho Chi Minh era.
He also requested party committees and chains-of-command of participating agencies and units to pay attention to the spiritual and material life of troops and stay ready for the final rehearsal on May 5.
