Defense leader inspects Binh Phuoc’s preparation for important event

The mission also included Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan and leaders of Military Region 7, the Vietnam Border Guard Command, Binh Phuoc province, functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense, the General Staff and the General Department of Political Affairs.

On inspecting and being briefed on the province’s preparation for the event, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien highly appreciated agencies, units and localities for well preparing for the celebration.

The Deputy Defense Minister emphasized that the celebration of the 45th anniversary of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen's “Journey to the fall of the Pol Pot genocidal regime” (June 20, 1977 - 2022) is an important external relations activity, contributing to consolidating solidarity and traditional friendship between the two countries. Therefore, he urged participating units and agencies to build detailed plans and well cooperate with other forces to make thorough preparations for the event.
