In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Academy successfully trained nearly 1,600 graduates, with more than 80% achieving good to excellent results.
At the Commando Officers Candidate School, Deputy Chief of the General Staff Sr. Lt. Gen. Huynh Chien Thang praised the school for its efforts in improving foreign language training, physical fitness, and soft skills, with 97.7% of graduates rated good or excellent. He directed the school to strengthen training in command and staff knowledge, practical skills, digital transformation, political and ideological education, and discipline, while enhancing the capacity of instructors and education managers.
Attending the opening ceremony of the new school year at the Military University of Culture and Arts, Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affair (GDP) Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Quang Minh asked the school to promote comprehensive reform in education and training, develop civilian training programs to supply high-quality human resources for national socio-economic development.
In the 2025-2026 academic year, the school aims to raise the quality of revolutionary music and bring symphony closer to the public.

At the Military Political Academy, GDP’s Deputy Chief Sr. Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To affirmed the Academy’s role as the military’s leading center for training political cadres and conducting research in military social sciences and humanities. He requested it to focus on standardizing and modernizing training programs, applying smart-school criteria, making breakthroughs in science and technology, and boosting digital transformation.
Applauding the Engineering Officers Candidate School for its creativity and achievements, Deputy Chief of the GDP Major General Nguyen Ba Luc asked for the school’s continued reform towards standardization and modernization, with curricula closely aligned to combat realities and units’ conditions. He underlined the need to strengthen international cooperation, apply new models and knowledge to improving the quality of education and training.
In the new academic year, the Armored Officers Candidate School, the Defense Industry College, and the Naval Technical College set forth directions and breakthrough measures to raise education and training quality and research capacity, contributing to military building in the new situation.
