The visit was held to check the implementation of Circular No.164/2018/TT-BQP issued by the Ministry of National Defense on December 1, 2018, regarding the regulations on the organization and activities of the Military Creative Youth Award (referred as Circular 164); and Decision No.294/QD-CT dated March 3, 2014, by the General Department of Political Affairs on the issuance of regulations for selecting the whole-military outstanding young faces (referred to as Decision 294) at Military Region 7.

Over the past 5 years, the youth of MR 7 have 44 initiatives winning the Military Creative Youth Award and numerous personnel have been praised as "Outstanding Young Faces" and "Promising Young Faces" of the whole-military. The unit has one serviceman honored as "Outstanding Young Face" at the national level. During the inspection, the delegates discussed various proposals and solutions for implementing Circular No.164 and Decision No.294.

Based on the inspection’s outcomes, the working delegation will continue to study and provide recommendations for the Director of the General Department of Political Affairs and the Ministry of National Defense to develop appropriate contents for Circular No.164 and Decision No.294 in the near future.
