Head of the PCC’s Commission for Information and Education Vo Van Thuong presents gift to the command.

Accordingly, the command has actively and proactively safeguarded the Fatherland on cyberspace. It is an important force with active engagement in ensuring security and safety of the national cyberspace, in hi-tech crime prevention and control and in the combat against “peaceful evolution” on cyberspace, thus contributing to firmly defending the national independence and sovereignty.

Thuong highly appreciated the command’s initial achievements in fulfilling its strategic missions and in carrying out the Party, State and Army’s plans to safeguard the Fatherland in the new situation.

He asked the command to grasp thoroughly developments in the public’s thoughts and opinions on the Internet, give timely solutions to fighting wrong and hostile viewpoints and sabotage acts on cyberspace and provide the public with more positive information.

Emphasizing the rapid development of science and technology in the world, Thuong said that the command’s cadres and workers should improve their expertise and give special assistance to the information and education sector in the struggle against wrong and hostile viewpoints on cyberspace in an effective manner.

As the traditional festival of Tet is coming, Thuong wished the command success in implementing missions assigned by the Party, State and Military, especially in this year which is significant in implementing the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress.
