Corps 18’s helicopters ready to protect security for 14th National Party Congress
PANO - On the morning of January 10, the Northern Helicopter Company under Corps 18 of the Ministry of National Defense carried out scheduled flight missions to assess and evaluate the readiness of its personnel and aircraft for ensuring security and safety for the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The flight operations involved modern helicopters operated by the Northern Helicopter Company, along with those from Air Force Regiment 916 under Division 371 of the Air Defense - Air Force Service.

Speaking about the mission in support of the 14th National Party Congress, Senior Colonel Pham Van Dung, Director of the Northern Helicopter Company, stated that to fulfill this important task, the company carefully selected pilots and flight crews with extensive experience, high accumulated flight hours, and a proven record of successfully completing special missions in recent years.
