Contest to raise troops’ awareness of environmental protection
PANO - The General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army held a competition entitled “The military implements environmental protection task, actively responds to climate change and overcomes environmental incidents in 2018” to raise troops’ awareness of the above issues.

Competitors want to show different views on the dangers of environmental pollution via their demonstrations |
Twenty eight military units in the North under the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense competed during the two-day event.
It was a good opportunity for Party committees’ leadership and chains-of-command at all levels to exchange experiences and suggest solutions to environmental protection among troops.
Through their demonstrations, the competitors wanted to show different views on the dangers of environmental pollution, greenhouse effect, climate change and measures to tackle them in a hope to protect the environment.
