An overview of the preparatory session of the 12th Military Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term |
With the action motto of “Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Steadfastness - Breakthrough - Development,” this congress carries a great responsibility. It continues to thoroughly grasp the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws on military and defense; firmly uphold and strengthen the Party’s absolute and direct leadership in all aspects over the military. This is also an opportunity to objectively analyze and evaluate factors affecting military and defense task implementation; to comprehensively review the implementation of the Resolution adopted at the 11th Congress of the Military Party Organization; to highlight achievements, point out limitations and causes, and draw valuable lessons in the leadership and direction of the Military Party Organization for the entire military.
On that basis, the congress sets out orientations, goals, and tasks related to military, defense, and Military Party Organization-building for the 2025-2030 term. The congress also focuses on discussions and contributions to the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress while electing outstanding delegates with firm will, wisdom, virtue, and competence, worthy to represent the will and aspirations of the Military Party Organization and the whole military to attend the 14th National Party Congress.
With the highest determination, each delegate must uphold a strong sense of responsibility, devote all wisdom and dedication, and contribute to the overall success of the congress. Officers and soldiers in the military should look toward the congress with renewed spirit and determination, translating the spirit of the congress into concrete actions in training, combat readiness, study, work, and practice. Wherever they are, in whatever position, each officer and soldier continues to embody the noble qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new era, creating an invincible source of strength for the military of combat, the military of work, and the military of production, thereby strengthening the people’s trust in the Party and the military.
The success of the 12th Congress of the Military Party Organization will provide fresh impetus, reinforce confidence, and ignite aspirations for the entire military to uphold unity and continue writing glorious golden pages in history, building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Vietnam People’s Army, strengthening defense capacity, and firmly safeguarding the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
