The event drew the participation of 13 teams with 26 batteries from military regions, army corps, the Artillery Corps and the Hanoi Capital Command.

During the six-day event, starting April 19, participating batteries competed in different night and day events, including maneuvering along the course of 5km; mortar firing, SPG-9 gun, RPG-7 anti-tank grenade launcher, and AK submachine gun; and overcoming six obstacles.

Even though the competition took place with high intensity, in both day and night time, and in scorching and harsh weather conditions, participating teams overcame all difficulties, competed with high sense of responsibility and determination, and excellently completed the competition’s contents.

According to the competition’s organizers, the competition was successful, meeting the set plan, and ensuring substantiality, objectivity, fairness, and absolute safety.

As a result, Military Region 2 team won first in the military region group. Army Corps 1 ranked first in the group of army corps and Hanoi Capital Command.

At the closing ceremony, the Artillery Corps rewarded first, second and third winning teams, and batteries with best results at the competition. Three units with outstanding achievements in festival organization, including the National Military Training Center No.2, Brigade 675 of the Artillery Corps, and Brigade 132 of the Signal Corps, were also awarded.
