In 2025, the An Giang provincial armed forces thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented higher levels’ resolutions and directives; observed combat readiness regulations; and promptly adjusted force deployment in line with each area following administrative mergers. The provincial armed forces also supplemented and refined operational and command - maneuver documents, and effectively developed and implemented plans to ensure security and safety during holidays, Tet, and major political events of the country and the locality.
Attentively, they met all targets in military recruitment; safely and strictly organized training, exercises, and competitions with flying colors. Notably, Infantry Regiment 893 was recognized by the General Staff as an excellent physical training unit in 2025.

Also in 2025, positive outcomes were seen in regularity building, discipline observance, military administrative reform, digital transformation, protection of maritime sovereignty and fight against IUU fishing, search and collection of martyrs’ remains, “Determined-to-Win” emulation movement, mass mobilization, among others.
In his concluding remarks, Gen. Nghia commended, acknowledged, the An Giang provincial armed forces for their attainments over the past time.
He requested the provincial armed forces to continue embracing higher levels’ resolutions and directives; to promote their key role and pro-actively advise local Party committees and authorities in leading and directing the effective implementation of military, defense, and border protection tasks; and to build and improve the quality of defensive areas and civil defense to meet task requirements in the new situation.

The CMC’s standing member asked for completion of the deployment of military officers to commune-level Military Commands according to the roadmap, ensuring strictness and effectiveness. Attention should be also paid to improving material and spiritual life of troops.
On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to 16 collectives and 78 individuals, including relatives of national contributors, disadvantaged families, and cases of infertility and childlessness in the province.
