Chief of the General Staff visits Army Officer Training School No.2
PANO – Army Officer Training School No.2 should continue raising the quality of education, building a contingent of professional cadres and instructors, renewing training program in line with missions and realities and putting increased importance in teaching foreign languages and informatics.

The request was made by Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang, member of the Party Central Committee, permanent member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and Deputy Defense Minister, during his working visit to the school.
The general praised efforts and achievements recorded by the unit over the past time. Accordingly, in 2017, all the cadets graduated, fulfilling all requirements.
He added that the school should impart combat experiences to cadets, combine theory and practice well, strengthen physical training, provide troops with essential skills to exploit new weapons and military equipment, raise troops’ stance and professionalism to be competent to fulfill all assigned missions in the future, making contributions to building a regular army and firmly defending the nation in the new period.
