Chief of General Staff works with Division 325
PANO - After inspecting Division 325’s combat readiness training, Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong had a working session with the unit’s representatives.
At the event, the Chief of the General Staff evaluated that in 2022 and the first three months of this year, the party committees and chains-of-command of Division 325 and units at all levels strictly studied and implemented resolutions and directives of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and Army Corps 2. Assigned tasks were synchronously, comprehensively, and effectively carried out, and troops’ combat readiness capabilities were enhanced.

The division strictly implemented orders of Army Corps 2’s Commander on combat readiness; directed affiliated agencies and units to complete natural disaster response, search and rescue, and fire prevention plans; strictly observed guard duty; actively practiced scenarios to protect security at important events of the nation and the military.
Concluding the working session, Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Tan Cuong praised Division 325’s outstanding achievements on military and defense missions since 2022. Pointing out shortcomings, he urged the division’s Party Committee and chain-of-command to promptly develop measures to address them.
Regarding key missions in the coming time, the Chief of the General Staff asked Division 325’s Party Committee and chain-of-command to continue actualizing higher levels’ resolutions on streamlining the military in the 2021-2030 period and upcoming years, pay attention to political and ideological education, strengthen combat power of the Party committees and Party organizations, and resolutely combat individualism.
Apart from that, Gen. Cuong asked Division 325 to thoroughly study and strictly carry out the Central Military Commission’s Resolution on enhancing training quality in the 2023-2030 period and the coming time; effectively organize exercises; effectively and safely participate in competitions and festivals.
He urged the unit to ensure adequate and timely logistical, financial, and technical supplies for missions; carry out emulation movements; ensure absolute safety during training and traffic safety.
