Chief of General Staff inspects military schools in Khanh Hoa
PANO - A mission of the Ministry of National Defense, led by Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and Deputy Defense Minister, inspected the Air Force Officer Training School and the Signal Officer Training School on August 2.

Briefed on the unit’s results of training and education in recent years, General Giang asked the Air Force Officer Training School to focus on increasing regularity building and disciplinary observance, improving the command of English for cadets and instructors, ensuring aviation safety, and well managing its stationing area.
Talking to the Signal Officer Training School’s commanders, the deputy defense minister praised their creativeness in promoting foreign language education among their troops as well as keeping them informed of up-to-date information technology. He also urged the school’ managers to continue creating favorable conditions for its cadets in a bid to improve their command ability, enhancing English command for its staff, instructors and cadets, and renewing training programs to meet tasks’ requirements in the current context.
