PANO – The Chemical Corps, on October 13th, opened a training course for chemical troops throughout the army, focusing on activities responding to chemical and radioactive incidents.
During the week-long course, participants are introduced to the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response, organization of search and rescue in the army, procedures for chemical incident responses, and missions of the chemical unit. The participants will also learn functions of certain specialized vehicles and equipment.
At the end of the course, the participants will have chance to observe a chemical response performance at Chemical Battalion 905.
