Authority of Foreign Information Service and PAN to boost cooperation
PANO - The Authority of Foreign Information Service under the Ministry of Information and Communications and the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) on March 3 held a conference to share experience in disseminating information about external affairs.
During the event, Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Hai, the PAN’s Vice Editor-in-Chief, briefed delegates on the PAN’s dissemination work and its editions. Accordingly, over the past time, the newspaper has actively and effectively disseminated information about important events, such as Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Year 2022, Vietnam elected to 2023-2025 U.N. Human Rights Council, 22nd Assembly of the World Peace Council, among others.

According to Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Hai, the PAN is an organ of the Central Military Commission and the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense, the voice of the armed forces and people. Therefore, it plays an important role in troops’ spiritual life. In addition, the PAN also attaches much importance to renewing contents and digital transformation in developing the PAN Online edition. Thus, foreign language and video-audio editions have been developed, among others.
For his part, Director of the Authority of Foreign Information Service Pham Anh Tuan hailed the PAN’s columns fighting against wrongful viewpoints of hostile forces, affirming that the newspaper holds a pioneering role in this field.
He also noted that the Authority of Foreign Information Service is willing to create favorable conditions and coordinate with the PAN in many fields, such as fighting against wrongful viewpoints of hostile forces, ensuring network safety and security as well as technology infrastructure, among others.
