Speaking at the ceremony, Head of PAN’s Office Senior Colonel Vu Xuan Dan said that presenting gifts to needy families on the occasion of the lunar New Year is a regular activity of the newspaper in the hope of helping needy families have a happier new year. The event is also to educate the newspaper’s personnel about the “The intact leaves protect the tattered ones” tradition of the Vietnamese people.

On behalf of local authorities and people in Dong Van townlet, Deputy Chairman of the People’s Committee of Dong Van district Nguyen Van Chinh thanked PAN and the Kind Heart Foundation for caring for needy people in the locality. He said that the gifts would be a timely encouragement for needy families on the lunar New Year.

The official wished PAN to further develop to deserve the trust of the Party, State, military, and people and the Kind Heart Foundation to obtain more achievements and continue to support those in need across the country.

On the occasion of the Year of the Cat 2023, PAN and the Kind Heart Foundation of Vingroup have handed over 1,500 gifts, worth VND 900 million in total, to needy people in Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Ha Giang, Ha Nam, and Thanh Hoa provinces.
