Artistic program celebrates VPA’s founding anniversary
PANO – An artistic program to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People’s Army was held by the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) and relevant agencies at the Au Co Art Center in Hanoi on December 20.
Under the theme of “Forever singing the marching songs,” the event was also to celebrate the 29th Whole People's Defense Festive Day, the 70th founding anniversary of the Lao People Army, and so on.
Present at the event were Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics; Mr. Ho Quang Loi, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists' Association; and Major General Pham Van Huan, PAN’s Editor-in-Chief and head of the organizing panel, among others.

The program featured art performances in praise of Uncle Ho’s soldiers during the national resistance wars against foreign invaders as well as the national construction and defense cause.
Additionally, it highlighted the traditional friendship and time-honored solidarity among Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
Performed by popular artists, the event left impressive moments on audiences, raising their patriotism and national pride.
