The two units will work together to develop a joint project of political, cultural, socio-economic, arts and sports significance, and to implement social security, poverty alleviation, gratitude, and disaster prevention and relief programs while providing medical check-up and treatment for people in remote areas. The two units will exchange experience in economic development in combination with defense construction and mass mobilization.

Army Corps 4 is also responsible for improving defense knowledge for personnel and militia of the Vietnam Rubber Group. For its part, the group will provide vocational training and create jobs for the Corps’ demobilized soldiers.

“The activity will build up a close and long-term relationship between the two units and mutual assistance in mission performance, contributing to maintaining social and political stability in the locality,” confirmed the Corps’ commissar.
