At the event, Army Corps 12 deployed more than 640 officers and soldiers to participate in parade formations. To fulfill the mission’s requirements, relevant agencies and units promptly developed plans and training programs, provided guidance, selected forces, and organized training in a thorough manner. Party committees and chains-of-command at all levels carried out effective political and ideological education, fostering awareness and responsibility among officers and soldiers.
The unit also maintained robust emulation and commendation activities and provided adequate accommodation, food, uniforms, and medical care for the troops. All personnel directly involved in the parade formations demonstrated solidarity, discipline, dedication, diligence, and enthusiasm in training; and executed movements accurately, uniformly, and impressively. Support and service forces upheld a strong sense of responsibility, pro-actively overcame all challenges, and worked with dedication to ensure the material and spiritual well-being of the troops.

Outstanding individuals honored at the event |
Through inspections, competitions, joint training sessions, rehearsals, and full-dress rehearsals at different level, Army Corps 12’ troops were highly appreciated by the Organizing Board and ranked first among the participating units. During the official ceremony, the troops performed excellently, affirming the strength of an "elite, compact, strong" main-force unit that contributed significantly to the success of the event. Their outstanding performance not only conveyed a message of independence, freedom, peace, and friendship to international friends, but also stirred deep pride and profound emotion among people, officers, and soldiers nationwide. In recognition of these achievements, more than 1,200 individuals received commendations and awards at all levels.
Speaking at the event, Maj. Gen. Tran Dai Thang, Political Commissar of Army Corps 12, highlighted the unit’s remarkable results in Mission A80. He also requested Party committees and Chains-of-Command at all levels to strengthen political education and thoroughly instill higher awareness and responsibility among officers and soldiers in performing their duties. He also emphasized focusing on building healthy and strong Party organizations; comprehensive strong, exemplary, and outstanding agencies and units; excellent mass organizations.
Gen. Thang urged all units to apply the valuable lessons learned from Mission A80 to future training tasks, while ensuring proper inspections, performance evaluations, and timely resolution of shortcomings so as to enhance overall mission effectiveness. At the same time, he encouraged active participation in exercises, contests, and competitions at all levels, striving for the best results with absolute safety.

He also underscored the need to maintain discipline and regularity, particularly in daily and weekly routines; to ensure strict compliance with State laws, military discipline, and unit regulations; and to pro-actively grasp and resolve the ideological matters of soldiers, thus avoiding being taken by surprise or unexpected situations.
