In 2025, Army Corps 34 participated in Mission A80, various competitions, and the emulation movement across the military, achieving excellent results. The corps received five collective awards at the Ministry level, while many individuals also earned prizes at both the Ministry and corps levels. Notably, Army Corps 34 excelled in mission A80, with many outstanding individuals recommended for commendation. The unit also secured third place in the “Military Region No.1” program, finished third in the nationwide fire prevention and fighting competition, and received a certificate of merit from the Ministry of National Defense.

Speaking at the event, Maj. Gen Le Minh Quang, Political Commissar of Army Corps 34, emphasized that 2025 marks many significant events for the country and the military. In addition to training and combat readiness tasks, Army Corps 34 has effectively led and directed Party congresses at all levels, successfully fulfilled Mission A80, and actively participated in contests, military sports competitions, and emulation campaigns. These efforts have affirmed the political will, solidarity, sense of responsibility, and overall strength of the core and strategic mobile unit of the Vietnam People’s Army.

He also commended collectives and individuals for their achievements, and called for continued strengthening of political and ideological education, promoting the role of organizations, improving the quality of training and combat readiness, enhancing regularity and discipline, thereby laying the foundation for successfully fulfilling all tasks and actively participating in contests and military sports events at all levels.

At the conference, the leadership of Army Corps 34 presented certificates of merit to six collectives and 62 individuals who participated in Mission A80. Additionally, numerous commendations and certificates of merit were awarded to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the “Military Region No.1” program, the contests and sports competition in 2025, and emulation campaigns.
