Reportedly, over the past 10 years, the Army Corps 1 Command has directed its troops to effectively conduct the resolutions, contributing to raising troops’ awareness of the importance of training.

Meanwhile, leadership work has been promoted in line with assigned tasks while coordination among its affiliated units has also been enhanced during their mission performance. The corps has also actively built training plans, meeting all task requirements. Since 2013, the unit has joined 87 contests, winning 32 first, 18 second and nine third prizes.

Especially, over the past time, the corps has conducted practical training, night training, situational training, and maneuver training categories in extreme weather conditions, among others.

During the conference, delegates pointed out shortcomings and limitations and mapped out solutions to best fulfill training missions in the following years.

Addressing the event, General Cuong acknowledged and hailed the unit’s task achievements over the past 10 years and requested them to overcome shortcomings and limitations.

To meet all task requirements in the current context, General Cuong asked the corps to promote the leadership in training task, grasp all directions of the higher levels about the task. Especially, after the Central Military Commission issued a new Resolution to replace Resolution No.765, the corps needs to realize the resolution, in accordance with the training mission and requirements and the task of building the corps in the current situation.

In addition, it should promote information dissemination about training missions, and build firm political stance for its troops so that they will have absolute trust in the Party’s leadership and Vietnam military arts while staying on high alert to defeat all malicious plots by hostile forces, and being ready to fulfill all assigned missions in any circumstances.

The chief of the General Staff also requested the unit to make good preparation for training tasks, innovate training methods, and promote training in line with reality.

Moreover, the corps should attach much importance to organizing live-fire exercises in combination with training missions and physical training; as well as encourage outstanding collectives and individuals, among others.
