Aid reaches flood-hit victims
PANO – Senior Colonel Tran Thanh Son, Chief of the Binh Dinh provincial Military Command received four tons of rations on December 17 as emergency aid to flood-hit people in isolated areas.

The food was transferred to the locality under Plan 1792/KH-CHCN approved on December 12 by Lieutenant General Nguyen Phuong Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, on providing dry rations to flood-hit victims in the South Central Region.
Accordingly, the Ministry of National Defense sent ten tons of dry rations to the provincial Military Command of Binh Dinh. The remainder of six tons will be transported to flood-hit localities in the coming days.
Delivering rations to locals
Right after the reception, the provincial Military Command of Binh Dinh has distributed the food to people in Phu Cat and Tuy Phuoc communes and An Nhon town. Other water-isolated areas in Binh Dinh province will receive the food after the military command receives all the amount of allocated dry rations.
During heavy rain and floods, people in flooded areas had to eat a lot of instant noodle; therefore, with the dry rations aided by the Ministry of National Defense, flood-hit people will hopefully have more nutritional and tasty meals.
