In 2023, the labor unions under the GS effectively implemented various activities such as legal counseling, providing gifts to labor union members in difficult circumstances, and funding for gratitude house construction. On this occasion, the GS of the Vietnam People's Army and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented certificates of merit to outstanding groups and individuals in the "Green-clean-beautiful, ensuring safety and hygiene in labor in 2023” movement. In addition, the GDP of the Vietnam People's Army provided financial support of VND 80 million to build a house for worker Vu Thi Hong Nhung from Corporation 789.

* On April 19, Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, inspected the implementation of combat readiness tasks at Division 367 of the Air Defense and Air Force Service and the Gia Dinh Regiment under the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command.

According to the reports of the leaderships of Division 367 and the Gia Dinh Regiment, from the beginning of 2024 until now, the units have strictly maintained combat readiness discipline, ensuring adequate personnel, vehicles, weapons, and technical equipment according to each combat plan. They have enhanced education for troops to raise their awareness and responsibilities, as well as organized effective training missions.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh commended the units for maintaining high combat readiness and safety in their units and stationed areas while asking them to continue enhancing training and regular inspection to improve task performance results. He also emphasized the need for close coordination with local authorities to firmly protect the stationed areas, especilly during the national holidays.
