Activities launched in response to workers’ month
PANO – Kon Tum Rubber One-member Limited Liability Company (aka Kon Tum Rubber Company) held a ceremony on May 5 at Ngoc Wang Rubber Farm in Dak Ha district, Kon Tum province to kick off activities in response to the workers’ month and occupational safety and hygiene action month.
The company’s report revealed that in 2021 the COVID-19 pandemic had a strong impact on the unit’s production and trade activities and workers’ life. Activities within the workers’ month and the occupational safety and hygiene action month helped the company and its workers overcome difficulties.

During the activities in 2021, Kon Tum Rubber Company honored and rewarded many outstanding workers and allocated VND 300 million to build six houses for needy workers. In addition, the company presented medical supplies to assist units in containing the COVID-19 pandemic and donated to the COVID-19 vaccine fund.
Together with giving support to workers, the company also provided periodic health checkups for 1,115 people and spent billions of VND buying gifts for 1,230 workers.
This year, Kon Tum Rubber Company will continue information dissemination to raise its personnel’s awareness of the glorious traditions of the Vietnamese workers and occupational safety and hygiene. The company will launch a movement to encourage its workers to raise their skills and pay more attention to improving the material and spiritual life of trade union members and workers.
At the event, the company presented seven houses and gifts to workers of occupational injuries, needy workers, and those with more than 20-year employment.
