Under the theme "Learning to be a soldier of the Vietnam People's Army," the "Military Semester" 2024 program took place from June 14 to 19 at Gia Dinh Regiment of the Ho Chi Minh City Command.

One hundred youngsters, including children of military officers and soldiers in Ho Chi Minh City and disadvantaged students excelling in their studies, participated in the program.

The trainees learned military lifestyle, discipline, basic defense skills, and took part in activities promoting traditional education, ethical training, determination, and resilience.

In his congratulatory speech to the trainees, Colonel Vo Van Tho, Deputy Political Chief of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, remarked that "throughout their time learning and training in the military environment, these youngsters have improved their knowledge and skills remarkably. I hope they will continue to uphold their good virtues and strive to become good citizens." He emphasized that the graduation ceremony underscored the significance of the "Military Semester" program in nurturing the younger generation and preparing future human resources for the national defense and security cause.

On this occasion, the organizers awarded certificates to all 100 participants of the "Military Semester" 2024 program.
