PANO – A delegation of young Cambodian officers had a useful exchange with young officers and workers of Technical Application and Production Ltd. (TECAPRO) in Ho Chi Minh City.

The visiting delegation consisting of 20 young Cambodian officers led by Colonel Chhong Rumchek paid a field trip to TECAPRO on October 5.

At the exchange, Deputy Director of TECAPRO, Senior Colonel Bui Anh Tuan briefed the guests on the company’s history and tradition, its functions, research and development (R&D) and production.

The exchange

According to the deputy director, the company, which was founded in 1988 on the demand of the Defense Ministry for hi-tech R&D, application and production, focuses on three spearheaded areas: information technology, electronics and telecommunication, and environmental technology.

In fact, the Royal Cambodian Defense Forces is one of the company’s customer, using a number of its products, particularly communication devices.

The representative of the company hoped that the Royal Cambodian Defense Forces and Cambodians continue to purchase more and more hi-tech products from the company in the future.

At the exchange, young officers of the two sides exchanged their knowledge of information technology, technological and scientific application, and experiences at work and in life.

After the exchange, the young Cambodian officers also toured all phases of R&D, designing, production and product promotion of TECAPRO communication joint-stock company, an affiliate of TECAPRO.
