Young Cambodian and Vietnamese officers hold exchange
PANO – A delegation of young officers from Intervention Brigade 1of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, led by Deputy Commander-in-chief of the Royal Cambodian Army and the brigade’s Commander General Prum Pheng visited Vietnam’s Infantry Division 5 of Military Region 7.
During the visit, young Vietnamese and Cambodian troops recalled the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two peoples and militaries during the wars for national independence and the national construction cause of both nations.

They also recalled the impartial support of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers for the Cambodian people in the fight against the Pol Pot genocidal regime as well as highlighted feats of arms and the development of the two militaries.
On behalf of the Cambodian delegation, General Prum Pheng thanked the host for the warm reception of Division 5 and hoped that the division will promote more exchange and experience sharing with Intervention Brigade 1.
