Vietnamese snipers ready for Army Game 2019

Snipers are required to operate in different terrains and circumstances, including dangerous ones while carrying heavy weapons. They are required to have good health, firm will and excellent skills in the battlefield.

After a two-month training program at the Mieu Mon Shooting Range in Hanoi, the most skilled snipers of the Vietnam People's Army are ready to participate in the International Army Games 2019 (Army Games 2019) in Belarus.

Nine members of the Vietnam's Sniper Team will compete with their peers from 20 other countries, including the reigning champions of  Belarus.

The snipers must pass a distance of one kilometer with a lot of obstacles, such as perforated walls, barbed wire fence, before shooting designated targets.

While shooting, the snipers are to hold their breath to ensure the accuracy of the shot.

After shooting at a distance of 300 meters, snipers perform grenade throwing.

Passing obstacles as quick as possibly and controlling the breath to ensure best results of shooting are a big challenge for all competitors.

Snipers always have good ability to perceive weather conditions, temperature, and wind speed to ensure the efficiency of their shots.
