Vietnamese signal team results come as a surprise at “Confident Reception” contest

Two Vietnamese signalmen, Senior Lieutenant Tran Thanh Tung and First Lieutenant Nguyen Dinh Loi, excellently completed their exercises.

Vietnamese signal team ranks second in the “Work on the equipment with the IP structure” category.

In exercise 1, both signalmen had problems with the equipment, but when they did the exercise again, they were calm and collected. In exercise 2, they performed their competition in 3 minutes and 27 seconds and 4 minutes and 52 seconds, respectively, placing them second and third. The results really surprised all of the competitors because the Vietnamese troops only had three days to get familiar with the Router NX 5124, a Belarusian device.

Though the Vietnamese team has completed just four out of the five stages of the contest, they are guaranteed to win at least a bronze medal because they have got enough points for it. It has been a great performance by the team in their first participation in the games.

At the three previous stages, namely “Steady receiving signal,” “Steady transferring signal” and “Radio positioning,” the Vietnamese signal team ranked third.
