Vietnamese naval delegation joins sport competitions with Chinese naval force
PANO - Within the framework of the 9th Vietnam - China Border Defense Friendship Exchange and the 38th joint patrol in the Gulf of Tonkin with the People's Liberation Army Navy of China, frigates 015-Tran Hung Dao and 016-Quang Trung under Brigade 162 of the Naval Region 4 Command and a working delegation of the Vietnam People's Navy visited and participated in sports competitions with the Chinese naval force at Beihai Military Port in China’s Guangxi province on April 14.
The Vietnamese delegation is led by Senior Captain Do Minh, Deputy Commander of the Naval Region 4 Command.
During the visit, both sides introduced the roles, missions, weapons, and equipment of their respective naval ships and answered questions from officers and sailors.
On the same day, the two navies participated in various activities, including Tai Chi performance, flag signal exchange, rope throwing, and sports competitions.
