Vietnamese naval contingent joins public activities at MNEK 2018
PANO - Military doctors and sappers of the Vietnam People’s Navy took part in public activities within the framework of the ongoing Multilateral Naval Exercise Komodo 2018 (MNEK 2018) on Lombok Island of Indonesia.
Joining the navies of the host, the U.S., France, the Republic of Korea and China, the Vietnamese military doctors provided physical examinations for and offered minor surgeries to islanders on the Indonesian Hospital Ship. Meanwhile, the Vietnamese sappers joined hands with the navies of the host, the U.S., Singapore, Australia, and China, to make a 250m-long concrete road in the north of Lombok Island.
In addition, the Vietnamese delegates also participated in sports and cultural exchanges, street parade, running and a cookery contest.
