Vietnamese military unit presents anti-COVID-19 medical supplies to Royal Cambodian Armed Forces
PANO – A mission of the Gia Lai provincial Military Command, led by its Deputy Political Commissar Senior Colonel Pham Manh Hung, on July 15, at the Le Thanh International Border Gate, handed over medical supplies to a military sub-region of Ratanakiri province under Military Region 1 of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces to assist them in COVID-19 combat.
The gifts included medical face masks, hand sanitizers, saline solution, Tu Phuong canvas, and antiseptic soaps, worth 100 million VND in total.
The gifts demonstrated the traditional friendship, cooperation and mutual support of the Gia Lai provincial Military Command and the Ratanakiri provincial armed forces, as well as the Cambodian people.
For the Cambodian side, Colonel Uk So Thi sincerely thanked the Vietnamese side, adding that the two countries would continue boosting cooperation and solidarity in COVID-19 prevention and control in the time to come.
