First Lieutenant, Doctor Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai wins the award in the individual competition of the “Military Medical Relay Race” event. |
In order to gain the achievement, Doctor Mai excellently earned high positions in various contests such as short-gun shooting, emergency treatment on the battlefield, diagnosis of diseases, and treatment for patients at four specialized stations. These achievements demonstrated the iron will and high determination of the Vietnamese military doctor. The accomplishment was not only the individual success of Doctor Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, but also the pride of all members of the medical contingent of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) present at the Forish Military Base.
Unlike the format of the lucky draw competition, the round-robin competition with all 11 teams has shown a fierce rivalry between the participants. In this year’s event, the medical contingent of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) tried their best to achieve encouraging results and complete their initial goal.
