The Vietnamese side was led by Lieutenant Colonel Do Huy Hung, Second-in-Command of Pa Thom Border Post, while the Lao side was headed by Captain Vongphet Soulysert, Deputy Head of Border Company 119.

The two units patrolled the area surrounding border marker cluster 111, checking the condition of the borderline, markers, and related landmarks. They also inspected the current status, security, and social safety in the designated border areas.

At the end of the patrol, both sides agreed that the borderline and markers remained intact, with no signs of violations of the border management agreement. The border areas were stable, with no cases of illegal border crossings and unauthorized grazing. Public order and social safety in the border areas were maintained.

However, both sides acknowledged potential risks, such as illegal border crossings, cross-border grazing of cattle, and drug trafficking. They agreed to continue strengthening patrol cooperation, ensuring security and order in the border areas.
