Attending the opening ceremony were Rear Admiral Nguyen Huu Thoan, Political Commissar of the Naval Academy; Maj. Gen. Le Van Uy, Political Commissar of the Air Force Officer Candidate School; representatives from agencies under the Ministry of National Defense, the Viet Nam People's Navy, and the Naval Academy, alongside young officers and cadets from Australia, Cambodia, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, and Thailand.

The Vietnamese cadet delegation comprised representatives from the Naval Academy, the Air Force Officer Candidate School, and the Signal Officer Candidate School.

In his opening speech, Rear Admiral Ngo Thanh Cong emphasized that amidst deepening globalization and international integration, enhancing mutual understanding, trust, and cooperation among military academies, especially among naval cadets, holds paramount importance in building an environment of peace, stability, cooperation, and development.

The program serves as not only an opportunity for cadets to share experience in academic studies, military training, and personal development, but also a valuable chance to deepen their understanding of each nation's traditions, culture, people, and identity. Through these activities, the event fosters solidarity, mutual respect, and enduring friendships for the future.

The Director of the academy expressed confidence that through practical training, professional exchanges, sports, cultural activities, and field trips, cadets will gain valuable knowledge, make new friends, and create fond memories of Viet Nam, its people, and the Viet Nam Naval Academy. At the same time, the program will continue to cultivate and advance cooperative, friendly, and trustworthy relations among navies, for peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.

Delegates tour the combat simulation training center.

During the program, delegates visited the combat simulation training center at the academy, attended a seminar on "Technology application in study and training of cadets," participated in sea trips to gain hands-on experience and exchange expertise in navigation and seamanship, and took part in sports, cultural and culinary exchanges. They also visited a number of cultural and historical sites and scenic attractions in Khanh Hoa province.
