Themed "Rescue and relief activities at collapsed structures," the exercise featured two main contents, namely searching for victims trapped in collapsed structures, providing first aid, and evacuating victims to Level-1 Field Hospital; transferring victims to higher levels for treatment at level-2 and level-3 field hospitals.

The exercise, a practical activity in defense cooperation among Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, ended successfully. This exercise helped search and rescue forces of the three countries enhance their pro-activeness in collaborating and supporting one another in responding to natural disasters, thus minimizing the loss of lives and property, ensuring peace and stability for the people.

The same day, the Vietnamese delegation, led by Gen. Giang, also visited Tep Pronom High School.

Below are photos of the joint search and rescue exercise.
